April 2014 — Township Nine wins Transit Action Excellence Award for Transit Oriented Development of the Year at 2014 State of RT Breakfast

September 2014 — Cannery Place to be completed

September 2013 — Sacramento Business Journal presents Township Nine with the Community Impact Award for the 2013 Best Real Estate Projects

August 2013 — North 7th Street Promenade at Township Nine is opened to the public

February 2013 — Cannery Place Apartments Construction Begins

June 2012 — Regional Transit’s Light Rail Green Line Station Grand Opening at Township Nine

December 2010 — Township Nine receives Catalyst Gold designation along with $1,350,000 grant funds From the State of California Housing and Community Development

October 2010 — At the SACOG Press conference Congresswoman, Doris Matsui, proclaims “When this is completed, Sacramentans will have the opportunity to live close to the Downtown core and be further exposed to beauty of Sacramento’s Rivers.”

October 2010 — At the SACOG Press conference, Deputy Director for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development , Ron Sims, states “…here is what the best people are doing in sustainability and livability…” Mr. Sims goes on to affirm Township Nine is “not just good, not just excellent but literally a perfect project.”

October 12th 2009 — Green Line Light Rail Ground Breaking

December 2009 — Major Building Demolition Began

February 2010 — Demolition on Cannery Building Began, Scott Syphax stated “There is nothing better than watching these buildings come down, because sooner or later there will be individuals and families recreating and living in a new community less than a mile from the state Capitol.”

October 2010 — Green Line Scheduled to Begin Service to Township Nine
